Sizing and fit

Which size should I choose?

Measure your waist at the narrowest point, near the belly button, and compare it with the size guide for the style you want. Each collection has its own size chart. Our waistbands sit a little snug so the jeans stay in place.

Is my FITJEANS size the same as my tights size?

Most customers wear the same size as their tights or leggings. Flared, Contour and 360 run a little small, so size up if you are between sizes. Baggy runs big, so take your usual size or one size down.

What is the Find my size helper?

Every product page has a Find my size helper. Choose the style, enter your usual tights size and, if you like, your waist, height and weight. It suggests a size and a length in a few seconds.

Which length should I choose: Petite, Regular or Tall?

Most styles come in Petite, Regular and Tall, and Flared and Baggy come in Shorter, Regular and Longer. Measure the inseam from crotch to ankle, or crotch to heel for Flared, and compare it with the size guide. The Find my size helper also suggests a length from your height.

Do I need hip or thigh measurements?

Usually not. Our denim has super stretch, so the waist and length are what matter. For Flared Low and Baggy Low Waist, use your hip measurement where the jeans sit.

Fabric and care

How stretchy are FITJEANS?

Our denim is super stretch and shapes to your body. The 360 collection also stretches 15 to 20 percent in length, which helps if you are tall.

How do I wash my jeans?

Wash inside out in cold water at max 30°C with a mild detergent, without fabric softener or bleach. Wash a new pair alone on a gentle cycle the first time. Air dry only and never use the dryer, because high heat can shrink the denim and damage the stretch.

How often should I wash my jeans?

You don't need to wash them after every wear. Spot clean stains with a damp cloth and mild soap instead. Washing too often can cause fading and change the fit over time.

Shipping and duties

Where do you ship from?

All orders ship from our regional warehouses in the US, Germany and Norway, with trackable delivery by Standard Delivery, DHL Express, DHL Parcel, Royal Mail, Swiss Post or Bring. See shipping costs and delivery times for your country.

How much is shipping?

It depends on your country and is always shown at checkout. Norway shipping with Bring is free. All prices per country are on our shipping page.

Will I pay customs duties?

US orders ship domestically and duty free from our US warehouse. UK orders to England, Scotland and Wales include taxes and duties. Switzerland orders ship with duties prepaid, with no extra fees. In Canada customs duties apply on all orders, and in Australia and New Zealand on orders above AUD 1,000.

How do I track my order?

You get a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link when your order leaves the warehouse. Delivery dates are estimates and can take longer during sales.

Returns and exchanges

What is your return policy?

You can return items within 30 days of delivery. Items must be in original condition with tags attached and no odors, stains or marks. Register your return on our returns page. Full details are on Returns and Refunds.

How do I return from Norway?

Returns in Norway are free. Register your return in the Bring return portal on our returns page and the Bring label is sent to you by email.

How do I return from the US?

Register your return in the Loop return portal on our returns page. The return label is emailed to you. Return handling and the label cost 8 USD, unless you bought free return insurance at checkout.

How do I return from the EU, UK, Switzerland and other countries?

Register your return in our Return Portal on the returns page. Your label is sent by email and the label fee for your country is deducted from your refund. UK and Switzerland refund returns use their own portals, linked from Returns and Refunds.

Can I exchange for another size?

Yes, in most countries you can exchange for the same item in another size through the Return Portal. The label fee shown in the portal applies, and US exchanges are free. Exchanges are not available in Norway yet, so return the item for a refund and place a new order.

When will I get my refund?

Once your parcel shows as delivered to our warehouse, allow up to 10 working days for processing. The refund goes to your original payment method, minus the return label fee, and you get a confirmation email.

How long is store credit valid?

Your store credit is valid for 12 months from issue (5 years in the US). If your credit has expired, write to help@fitjeans.com and we will gladly honour it.

Orders and payment

Which payment methods can I use?

The payment methods for your country are shown at checkout. Depending on where you live, these include cards, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Most orders ship within 24 hours, so we can't promise a change or cancellation. Email help@fitjeans.com right away with your order number. If the order hasn't been packed yet, we'll do our best.

My item is faulty or wrong. What do I do?

Email help@fitjeans.com with your order number and clear photos. For a wrong item you get a free return label and we send the correct item. See Order Issues.
